Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly
- Document care accurately and follow facility policies and procedures
- Work as part of a team to create a safe, comfortable environment
Qualifications
- GNA certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtain upon hire)
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable working night shifts and able to pass background and health checks
- Previous long-term care experience is a plus but caring attitude is essential
Education
- High School Diploma or GED; GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and ADL assistance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
- Observation skills to notice and report changes in resident condition
- Time management and dependable attendance
