Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one physical therapy evaluations and skilled treatment to patients across the outpatient continuum
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that target functional goals and measurable progress
• Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and patient education with compassion and clinical excellence
• Document timely and accurate progress notes in the electronic health record and track outcomes
• Collaborate with clinic staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care
• Coach patients and families on home exercise programs and discharge planning to maximize long-term success

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Physical Therapist license required
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or equivalent clinical degree
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required or obtain upon hire
• Outpatient experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply
• Excellent communication, documentation, and patient education skills
• Available to start by 11-24-2025 for this contract assignment

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise and manual therapy techniques
• Knowledge of outpatient musculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment
• Familiarity with outcome measures and functional assessment tools
• Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate patients
