Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality physical therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to patient needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain
- Document patient progress accurately and communicate outcomes with the care team
- Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility strategies, and injury prevention
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and rehab staff to ensure coordinated care
- Demonstrate clinical decision making and adapt plans based on patient response
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license required
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor or Master in related field considered
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Prior experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work the specified day shift schedule for the contract duration
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor or Master in Physical Therapy or related field acceptable
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with mobility training, therapeutic exercise, and functional transfer training
- Skilled in patient assessment, goal setting, and progress documentation
- Knowledge of common rehab modalities and assistive devices
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and timely charting
- Ability to prioritize caseloads and provide efficient, patient-centered care
