Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned residents
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor and document patient vitals and condition changes
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper patient records
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and families
- Support infection control practices and a safe care environment
- Assist with patient mobility, comfort, and basic care needs
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina LPN license (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- Previous experience in long-term care or clinical setting preferred (1+ year helpful)
- Current immunizations and ability to meet facility health screening requirements
- Reliable, professional, and patient-focused attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program
- High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Patient assessment and basic clinical skills
- Electronic health record (EHR) familiarity
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
- Basic wound care and infection control practices
