Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to assigned patients and ensure their comfort and safety
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, adhering to facility protocols
• Monitor and document vital signs, patient status, and changes in condition promptly
• Communicate effectively with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Perform routine nursing procedures and assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and shift reports
• Support a positive patient experience through clear communication, empathy, and professionalism

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in North Carolina required
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred, especially in acute care or long term care settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliability and a patient-first attitude
• Ability to work night shifts and lift/assist patients as required

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/practical nursing program
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and basic nursing interventions
• Medication administration and documentation
• Skilled in taking and interpreting vital signs
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
• Prior experience with long term care or skilled nursing is a plus
