Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
• Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
• Assist with meal service and monitor intake, noting any concerns
• Document care activities and resident changes clearly and professionally
• Support a safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and the care team to advocate for residents
• Help with transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent skin issues

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in North Carolina (required)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen (as applicable)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working night shifts and providing direct resident care
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous experience as a CNA is a plus but compassionate new grads are welcome to apply

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification (required)

• Basic patient care and ADL assistance
• Safe patient transfer and mobility techniques
• Vital sign measurement and documentation
• Infection prevention and hand hygiene best practices
• HIPAA awareness and resident confidentiality
• Team collaboration and clear verbal/written communication
