Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care during night shifts for assigned patients
• Perform thorough assessments and document patient status accurately
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders and facility policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care plans
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed
• Maintain clear, timely charting in the electronic health record
• Support continuity of care during handoffs with day-shift colleagues

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico required
• Current BLS from American Heart Association or equivalent required
• Experience in acute care settings preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills considered
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on night shift and prioritize tasks
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US; local candidates preferred (LOCAL ONLY)
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Albuquerque Hts HC

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Diploma or equivalent nursing education with active RN license accepted

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Medication administration and IV therapy basics
• Familiarity with common inpatient procedures and safety protocols
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
