Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate patient care consistent with your scope (LPN or RN)
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
- Monitor and document patient condition, vital signs, and responses to care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Provide clear, timely charting in the electronic health record
- Support patients and families with education and emotional reassurance
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control best practices
- Participate in handoffs and unit-based quality improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in Delaware (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
- Previous clinical experience preferred but new grads with strong skills are welcome
- Ability to work the scheduled night shift and every-other-weekend rotation
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- LPN: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- RN: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and basic nursing interventions
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Proficiency with electronic health records and charting
- Infection control and patient safety practices
- Prioritization and time management on a busy unit
- Team collaboration and effective patient/family communication
