Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on night shifts
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient status
- Document assessments and care plans clearly and promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support rehabilitation goals
- Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate when necessary
- Support patient and family education to encourage recovery and independence
Qualifications
- Current RN license for New Mexico (required)
- Active BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
- Ability to work nights, with reliable attendance for the contract period
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and medication administration
- Wound care fundamentals and rehabilitation support
- Electronic health record documentation
- Time management and prioritization during longer night shifts
- Patient/family education and interdisciplinary collaboration
