Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents at Larkin Chase Center
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with facility policies
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans and improve outcomes
• Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and complete required paperwork
• Educate residents and families about care, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
• Respond promptly to urgent situations and assist with emergency interventions when needed

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in Maryland required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred; new grads may be considered depending on role
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
• LPN diploma/licensure accepted for LPN roles

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and wound care
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Excellent time management and prioritization during busy shifts
• Compassionate patient and family-centered care approach
