Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Measure and accurately document vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support safe resident mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics every time
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families, treating everyone with dignity and respect
• Communicate observations and participate in care planning to help improve resident outcomes

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or eligibility for reciprocity)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
• Pass background check and any required state/facility screenings
• Reliability, compassion, and strong teamwork skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care and safety best practices
• Taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Assisting with ADLs and safe transfer techniques
• Infection control and appropriate use of PPE
• Clear communication and teamwork in a clinical setting
• Familiarity with basic charting or electronic medical records is a plus
