Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor, assess and document patient conditions in the medical record
• Collaborate with nursing colleagues and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Respond promptly and effectively to patient needs and clinical changes
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control and safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maryland
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Previous long-term care or community nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN for RNs or accredited practical nursing program for LPNs)

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Skilled in medication administration and patient monitoring
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong patient advocacy
