Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to residents as an LPN or RN
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document care and observations in the electronic medical record in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
• Support residents and families with clear communication and empathy
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Maryland LPN or RN license in good standing (LPN or RN applicants welcome)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on night shift
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN associate/BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and documentation
• Comfortable performing resident assessments and vital signs monitoring
• Experience with wound care and basic nursing procedures
• Proficient with electronic medical records or willing to learn quickly
• Good clinical judgment, time management, and teamwork mindset
