Hours per Week: 8.0 hours per shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 30 minute unpaid meal break); weekly hours vary with per-diem schedule

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care during the day shift
- Administer medications and document treatments accurately and timely
- Monitor vital signs and clinical changes, escalating concerns to the care team
- Perform skilled nursing tasks appropriate to your license and facility protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and leadership to support resident goals
- Maintain clear, professional charting and handoffs for seamless care continuity
- Support a positive environment for residents and families through respectful communication
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license in Maryland (must be current and in good standing)
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Previous experience in long term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited LPN or RN program as applicable
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Basic assessments: vital signs, input/output, skin checks
- Familiarity with long term care regulations and best practices
- Electronic charting and accurate record keeping
- Infection control and safe clinical practice
- Good interpersonal skills for working with residents and interdisciplinary teams
