Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on each shift
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient status, and care interventions
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
- Support seamless handoffs and accurate charting in the facility EMR
- Respond to patient needs and escalate concerns to the clinical team
Qualifications
- Current and active RN or LPN license in Maryland (LPN or RN accepted)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Current immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
- Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Maryland LPN or RN license
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Comfortable using electronic medical records for charting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
