Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting
• Perform thorough assessments and document changes in condition clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following provider orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans
• Communicate effectively with residents and families to ensure comfort, dignity, and understanding
• Respond to clinical changes and emergencies with calm, skilled action
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the facility record system

Qualifications

• Current, active Maryland RN or LPN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred for RN roles
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and facility onboarding requirements
• Comfortable working in a skilled nursing/long-term care environment
• Preferred: 1+ year of recent nursing experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar

Education

• LPN: Nursing diploma or Associate degree (as required for licensure)
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and wound care experience
• Clear, professional communication and teamwork
• Documentation and charting proficiency, basic familiarity with EHRs
• Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
