Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients at every step
• Assess patient conditions and create clear, actionable care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and document accurately in the chart
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to improve outcomes
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and prevent readmissions
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives
• Triage and respond to urgent patient needs with calm, confident action

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred; travel experience a plus
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS and PALS preferred based on unit needs
• Current vaccinations and TB test per facility policy
• Reliable transportation and ability to relocate for assignment duration

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic documentation
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and adaptability on shift
