Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients on your unit
- Perform thorough assessments and develop care plans that make a difference
- Administer medications and document accurately, with attention to detail
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and healthy transitions
- Respond promptly to patient needs and clinical changes with professionalism
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred or obtainable
- Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
- Comfortable working in an inpatient setting and using electronic medical records
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and bedside nursing skills
- Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
- Electronic medical record documentation
- Care coordination and multidisciplinary teamwork
- Patient and family education techniques
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
