Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, safe nursing care to adult patients following established protocols
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and escalate changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care team members to coordinate care plans
• Provide clear, timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland (or compact license where accepted)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS are a plus
• 1+ year of recent clinical nursing experience preferred
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Familiarity with medication administration and documentation best practices
• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards
• Customer-focused approach with empathy and professionalism
