Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care and monitor patient status throughout the shift
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
• Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Maintain accurate, timely charting in the facility electronic health record

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred
• Prior clinical experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome to inquire
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, and a patient-first mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of patient assessment and nursing fundamentals
• Experience with medication administration and basic IV therapy
• Comfortable using electronic health records; EHR/EMR proficiency preferred
• Good clinical judgment, critical thinking, and time management
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary care teams
