Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure smooth procedures
• Follow strict sterile techniques and safety protocols
• Collaborate with nurses and surgeons to provide excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Previous experience as a surgical technologist
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to sterile technique

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced environments
• Time management and organizational skills
