Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms with sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict infection control standards
• Organize and restock surgical supplies to keep the OR ready for the next case

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience as a surgical technologist in an operating room setting
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of the role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons during procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with operating room safety protocols
• Adaptability to various surgical specialties
