Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating their needs
• Maintain strict sterility and safety standards throughout every surgery
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth, efficient operations
• Inventory and restock surgical supplies to keep the OR ready for any case

Qualifications

• Active certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program
• BLS certification required
• Prior experience in an operating room setting is a plus, but new grads are welcome!
• Ability to stand for extended periods and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instruments
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and act quickly
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of surgical safety protocols and infection control
