Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Assist surgeons and registered nurses during surgical procedures with precision and efficiency
• Maintain a strict sterile field throughout operations to ensure patient safety
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments seamlessly
• Monitor and restock surgical supplies to keep the OR ready for every case
• Support patients before, during, and after surgery with compassion and professionalism

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred
• BLS certification required
• Previous experience as a surgical technologist is a plus
• Ability to stand for long periods and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and surgical procedures
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
