Location: West Valley, UT

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with flexibility for additional hours as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist the surgical team by arranging and inventorying sterile instrument sets
Drape patients and set up equipment for each case
Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and nurses efficiently
Prepare and transport patients to and from the operating room
Sterilize and clean instruments, equipment, and OR rooms after procedures
Maintain strict sterile technique throughout every step

Qualifications

Current BLS certification
NBSTSA or NCCT certification
Registration with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) or equivalent state registration
Minimum 1 year of surgical tech experience; specialty experience preferred
Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

Sterile technique and infection control
Instrument identification and handling
Operating room workflow and teamwork
Patient positioning and transport
Basic troubleshooting of surgical equipment
