Roles & Responsibilities

Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments to ensure patient safety
Operate sterilization machines like autoclaves with precision and care
Inspect instruments for damage or defects to maintain top quality
Assemble instrument trays and packs following exact procedures
Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes for compliance
Follow safety and infection control protocols to protect everyone

Qualifications

Experience in sterile processing or similar role welcomed
Knowledge of sterilization procedures and equipment
Commitment to safety and infection control standards

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in operating autoclaves and other sterilization equipment
Attention to detail for inspecting and assembling instruments
Understanding of safety protocols and record-keeping
