Shift Type: As needed - flexible shifts, 12.5 hours per shift, including weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for pediatric patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet each patient's unique goals
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure holistic care
  • Document patient progress accurately and adjust therapy approaches as needed
  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support communication and feeding at home
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

  • Current Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility to obtain one
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of pediatric speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Familiarity with evidence-based assessment tools and therapeutic interventions
  • Excellent documentation and time-management skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and schedules
