Speech-Language Pathologist - Per Diem
Location: Portland, Oregon

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, 8.5-hour shifts; specific days and start times vary based on facility needs.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with communication, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for pediatric patients
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist license (or ability to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
- Pediatric experience is a plus, but we welcome new graduates
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of pediatric communication and swallowing disorders
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Proficient in documentation and electronic medical records
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
