Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts, flexible per diem schedule as needed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based speech and language therapy to pediatric patients
- Evaluate and treat communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans
- Maintain clear, thorough documentation of evaluations and progress
- Educate patients and families to support therapy goals at home
- Adapt sessions to meet each child’s unique developmental needs
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Experience with pediatric populations in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work independently and as a valued team member
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
- Understanding of pediatric development and family-centered care
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Excellent clinical documentation skills
- Effective communication with children, families, and colleagues
