Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days, 40 hours/week, 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts depending on unit need, may include weekends and call shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $98 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during procedures
Provide high-quality patient care
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless care
Float between Mercy Hospital Downtown and Mercy Southwest

Qualifications

Current RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications
Experience in Ortho, Robotics, Neuro, and GYN
Cerner experience required

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Knowledge of surgical procedures and instruments
