Shift Type: Per diem shifts as needed, 6-hour shifts
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients
- Monitor vital signs and assess recovery from anesthesia
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe patient transitions
- Educate families on post-operative care and discharge instructions
- Document patient progress accurately and promptly
- Advocate for patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout recovery
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Washington or a compact state
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Experience in PACU, critical care, or pediatrics preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of pediatric post-anesthesia care protocols
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- Understanding of anesthesia recovery and pain management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
