Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients on the med/surg unit
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions tailored to each child's needs
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring responses
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on condition management and recovery
• Document patient progress accurately and promptly

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri (or compact license)
• Current BLS certification
• Pediatric acute care experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• A genuine passion for working with children and families

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric assessment and med/surg nursing knowledge
• Comfort with IV starts, medication administration, and monitoring
• Excellent communication and family teaching skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Team collaboration and empathy
