Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours guaranteed weekly, 4 weekend shifts per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery
Circulate C-sections with precision and confidence
Monitor fetal and maternal health to ensure safe outcomes
Collaborate with a supportive team including unit techs and secretaries
Provide high-quality nursing in a 12-bed unit with excellent 2:1 ratios

Qualifications

Active Texas RN license required (no temp licenses)
2+ years of L&D experience
Must-have certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, AWHONN

Education

RN licensure with relevant L&D training and certifications

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Meditech documentation system preferred
RNC certification a big plus
Experience with high-acuity L&D procedures
Strong teamwork in fast-paced labor and delivery environments
