Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced Level 2 trauma center
Collaborate with a welcoming, team-oriented staff to ensure seamless patient experiences
Monitor patients using GE monitors and administer medications with Baxter pumps
Document care accurately in the Cerner system while keeping patients informed throughout their visit
Float within the Emergency Department to support all sections and meet dynamic patient needs
Uphold AIDET standards and maintain updated patient communication boards for every individual

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in an ER setting
Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before start date
ENPC certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
Preferred experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED with over 100,000 visits
Previous HCA experience is a plus

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and give real-time feedback
Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department
Proficiency with Cerner documentation, Baxter pumps, and GE monitors
Commitment to respectful, patient-centered care and cultural sensitivity
