Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity in a busy ED/ER setting
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with accuracy and confidence
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to create effective care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in a timely manner
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families during stressful moments
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or a compact state
- Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred
- Emergency department experience strongly preferred
- Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of emergency nursing principles, triage protocols, and patient stabilization
- Skilled in IV insertion, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring
- Comfortable using electronic health records and emergency medical equipment
- Excellent interpersonal and patient teaching abilities
- Ability to maintain empathy and professionalism in crisis situations
