Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric patients
• Assess respiratory status and implement individualized treatment plans
• Administer oxygen, aerosol therapies, and ventilator support as ordered
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments in collaboration with the care team
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care techniques
• Document care accurately and maintain a safe, compassionate environment

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in Washington State
• Current BLS certification (PALS preferred)
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Previous pediatric or critical care experience is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory therapy modalities and equipment
• Skill in ventilator management and airway clearance techniques
• Ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced situations
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
