Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert respiratory treatments and care to patients battling insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia and emphysema
Evaluate patient needs and provide life-saving interventions in a fast-paced acute care environment
Operate advanced equipment like Servo I ventilators, Hamilton devices and V60 CPAP/BIPAP machines
Collaborate with a close-knit team to handle 44-46 procedures per shift with precision and compassion
Contribute to exceptional patient outcomes in a Joint Commission accredited facility

Qualifications

Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
Florida RRT license or ability to obtain quickly

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
Experience with trauma cases a big plus
Skilled in ABG analysis, CPT and nebulizer treatments
Critical thinking in high-volume, fast-paced settings
Team player mindset with strong patient focus
