Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate respiratory care to pediatric patients
• Assess respiratory status and implement individualized care plans
• Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment, including ventilators
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and therapists to ensure the best outcomes
• Document patient responses and progress accurately

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous pediatric or acute care respiratory experience preferred
• Flexible availability to work per diem shifts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, caring environment

• Solid knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Comfort with electronic health records and documentation
