Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, as needed; 6-hour shifts
Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen delivery devices
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care and home management
- Respond to emergency calls and provide respiratory support during codes
Qualifications
- Active Respiratory Therapist license in Oregon
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred
- Previous respiratory therapy experience in an acute care or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Flexibility to work per diem shifts as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy modalities, including mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy
- Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
