Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate respiratory care to pediatric patients, assessing and monitoring their respiratory status
- Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies as ordered, adjusting based on patient response
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to develop effective patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care techniques
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately
- Respond calmly and quickly in emergency situations, providing respiratory support when needed
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT) in good standing
- Current BLS certification (PALS preferred)
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts based on department needs
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Pediatric experience is a plus, but we welcome exceptional new graduates with a passion for pediatric care
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and techniques
- Comfort working in a fast-paced pediatric hospital environment
- Excellent communication and patient-family interaction skills
- Ability to assess patient conditions and make sound clinical decisions
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation
- Commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered care
