Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and therapies to patients of all ages
• Assess patient respiratory status and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor and manage ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and airway devices
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient responses and adjust treatments as needed to ensure high-quality care
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and home care strategies

Qualifications

• Active Louisiana Respiratory Therapist license is required
• BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred
• Previous experience in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred
• New graduates with licensure are welcome to apply
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including rotating 12.5-hour shifts

• Proficiency with respiratory equipment, ventilators, and oxygen delivery systems
