Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients across acuity levels
• Assess patient respiratory status and adjust therapies as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments
• Maintain and monitor respiratory equipment to ensure safety and readiness

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in Louisiana
• Current BLS certification (ACLS/RRT preferred)
• Experience in acute care is preferred, though qualified candidates at all levels are encouraged to apply
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy modalities, including ventilators and oxygen therapy
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation standards
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
