Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM with required call and weekend call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in complex cardiac procedures like CABG, AVR, MVR and Type A dissections to save lives
Support vascular surgeries including open and endovascular cases with precision
Scrub and circulate in high-stakes CVOR environment making every moment count
Collaborate with a tight-knit team of 7 RNs and 6 CSTs for seamless operations
Handle advanced cases like TAVR, Impella/ECMO insertions and thoracic robotics
Float to Main OR, CathLab and IR to broaden your expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 1 year experience, but at least 2 years exclusive CVOR preferred
CVOR experience in cardiac and vascular surgery is essential
Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with emergencies

Education

RN licensure required
BSN preferred for this specialized CVOR role

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in scrubbing and circulating during complex procedures
Proficiency with CVOR equipment and EMR systems
Strong team player mentality that complements the department
Comfortable working under pressure in dynamic OR settings
