Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in preoperative care for pediatric patients, ensuring comfort and safety before surgery
• Prepare patients and families for the surgical experience, explaining procedures and answering questions
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to coordinate care plans
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient status throughout the pre‑op process
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
• Experience in pediatric or preoperative nursing preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts and pick up assignments as needed
