Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and neurological status
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans
• Educate and support families during difficult times
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio or compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of PICU or pediatric critical care experience
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of pediatric critical care protocols and equipment
• Proficient in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Excellent assessment and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and families
