Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, specialized care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients' conditions, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Support and educate families during some of their most challenging moments
• Document patient care accurately and maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• PALS certification highly desired
• Experience in pediatric or critical care nursing is a plus, but a passion for learning is essential
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric critical care knowledge
• Medication administration and IV therapy skills
• Comfort with ventilators and monitoring equipment
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Excellent teamwork and patient advocacy
