Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, 6 hours per shift
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and interventions as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
- Respond quickly and efficiently to changes in patient status and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Experience in pediatric intensive care or a similar critical care setting preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of pediatric critical care protocols, medications, and equipment
- Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
