Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and interventions as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
• Respond quickly and efficiently to changes in patient status and emergency situations

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Experience in pediatric intensive care or a similar critical care setting preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of pediatric critical care protocols, medications, and equipment
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
