Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments with accuracy
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate and support families through stressful situations
• Document patient progress and maintain precise medical records

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Experience in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) or critical care
• BLS and PALS certification required
• Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of pediatric critical care protocols
• Skilled in patient assessment, monitoring, and emergency response
• Comfortable with IV pumps, ventilators, and monitoring equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of family-centered care principles
