Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments with accuracy
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
- Educate and support families through stressful situations
- Document patient progress and maintain precise medical records
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Experience in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) or critical care
- BLS and PALS certification required
- Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of pediatric critical care protocols
- Skilled in patient assessment, monitoring, and emergency response
- Comfortable with IV pumps, ventilators, and monitoring equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of family-centered care principles
