Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, 6 hours, days and times vary
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and respond quickly to changes
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
- Educate and support families during stressful and uncertain times
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and progress
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Previous pediatric or PICU nursing experience preferred, but new grads with strong critical care interest welcome
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong pediatric assessment and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of pediatric medications, dosing, and safe administration
- Comfort with ventilators, monitors, and other ICU equipment
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication with families, patients, and healthcare teams
- Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation
