Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to pediatric intensive care patients
- Monitor critical vital signs and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and adjust care plans
- Support and educate families during some of the most challenging moments
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain a safe, healing environment
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- PICU or pediatric critical care experience preferred
- BLS and PALS certification required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Deep understanding of pediatric assessment and critical care protocols
- Comfort with ventilators, IV pumps, and pediatric monitoring equipment
- Skill in collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, and social workers
- Excellent documentation and EHR proficiency
- Empathy, patience, and a calming presence for patients and families
